The big cookie

Bryce has been talking for months now about this big cookie that scares him. I have no idea where this cookie thing came from, but the other night he was taking a bath and he started to talk about it again how he was scared of the big cookie and I try telling him well we ate it, mommy ate him so he won't bother you anymore and he comes back with 'yeah and daddy kicked his butt!" I was laughing so hard I couldn't tell him that he's not allowed to say butt.

Visiting Santa

We went to visit Santa at the mall tonight. We had a much better experience this time than in the past two years. There was still no smiling but there wasn't screaming this time either. He walked up to him and told Santa he wanted presents for christmas and Santa asked what he wanted and Bryce pointed to a huge purple present that was near a christmas tree. Santa was trying to explain that it wasn't real and it was just a decoration.

Big boy vs. baby

So every time I call Bryce my baby he says no i'm a big boy. Well this morning I tried getting Bryce to put on big boy undies cause I want this potty training to move forward a bit. I asked Bryce if he was a big boy or a baby, 'um, i'm a big boy.' So I told him 'well, undies are for big boys and diapers are for babys.' He came back with 'oh, i'm a baby'.

We went over to mimi's house to 'help' clean up the yard. We weren't a whole lot of help, but Bryce sure had a great time playing in the leaves for the first time.

We introduced Bryce to the Wii

Dustin and I were going to play Wii and Bryce wanted to try. He had a blast playing bowling (still needs a lot of help with that), baseball, and boxing.

Happy Halloween!

We first took Bryce Trick-or-treating to the mall in LaCrosse because it was supposed to be really cold on halloween so we just wanted to be sure he would get a chance to do it. It turned out that on halloween it wasn't so bad so we got to go trick-or-treating twice.

Dustin and I dressed up to. He went as an accounting student and I went as a cosmetology student.

Bryce was such a good boy the whole time. We would take him up to the house and would say 'trick-or-treat' and after he would get the candy he would say 'thank you'.

I must add that on October 30th was mine and Dustin's 4 year anniversary. We had a nice evening out while mimi watched Bryce.

Hannah found a huge one at the top of a tree that she had to climb up to get. Bryce had a great time throwing it and rolling it down hills after she got it.

Bryce had a great time with Becky. He kept calling her 'my friend'. It was to sweet. She was a great sport through it all.

They played football and would both do a touchdown dance after they caught it.

Minnesota Zoo

Mimi's present to Bryce was money to take a trip to the Minnesota Zoo. We had a really fun time. I think we will definitely be going back.
