10 things about Bryce

1. Bryce loves watching 'Barney' and 'It's a big big world' all day, everyday.
2. He likes buses, any kind of trucks, and trains. He knows what they're all called. "bus, car, and choo-choo." There are train tracks a little ways behind where we live. When he hears the choo-choo coming he goes and watches it from the wondow.
3. Bryce loves animals especially puppies. Theres a dog that he can see from the window and everytime he hears it he starts saying 'puppy, puppy' and has to go look out the window.
4. Bryce loves his stuffed elephant "t". He goes just about everywhere with him.
5. Bryce loves to be outside rain or shine. When we go inside he starts screaming 'side, side' cause he wants to go outside.
6. Bryce has two special blankies that Aunt Aubrey and Grammie helped make for him which right now he calls both 'gankie'.
7. Bryce really likes fishies. When we go to wal-mart he starts saying 'shishies' so he can go look at them.
8. Bryce is very technologically sound. He knows how to turn on the t.v., turn on the xbox 360, open it, put a disk in, and gives us the controller to start Barney for him.
9. Bryce is very helpful around the house. If something spills on the floor he'll say 'oh no', go into the kitchen so I can get a paper towel so I can wipe it up. The other day though, I was doing dishes and I heard Bryce say oh no, he came into the kitchen, grabbed the paper towels off the counter himself, tore off a piece by himself, then went into the living room and started wiping the floor, and then threw the paper towel away. He takes care of his dishes (sometimes), and helps take care of the laundry, picks up stuff when we ask him to.
10. He is now tall enough to turn the lights on and off, and now knows how to open the round door handles along with the lever handles.

Bryce has this new walk he likes to do. He sorta leans forward and squats down and then sometimes will put his arms behind him. You can kinda see him doing it in the video.

Well we had a pretty nice weekend, Sunday Dustin, Bryce, and I walked down to the lake to go feed the ducks. Other people were down there feeding them so by the time we got down there the ducks weren't hungry anymore, but Bryce still had a good time. Then after Bryce took a nap we went down to the deer park. The deer were just laying under their little shelter building. There was a turkey in there too so Dustin waded up a piece of bread and chucked it at the poor turkey which hit it and scared it so it jumped up. Eventually the deer got up and was eating the bread on came right up to the fence and ate a piece of bread right out of my hand.

Poor Bryce has a cold, so I was in the kitchen cutting up some fruit for him when I heard him sneeze. I turned around to say 'bless you' to him and I saw him wipe his nose on the arm of the couch! nice.

Mom had brought me home and when we got there some ducks came waddling up so I threw out some bread for them. They did come back the next morning too and finished off the rest of the bread.

Family Fun Day

The high school around here was having a family fun day. I forgot to bring in my camera but I got a couple of pictures of Bryce with his cotton candy (having it for the first time) when we went outside.

I took Bryce to the lake so we could go feed the ducks. Most the time he just ate the piece of bread i'd give him to give to the ducks.

Well tonight I finally took Bryce to a playgroup of sorts. It was an open gym night. It's for toddlers to just go and play on kids equipment. Bryce had a great time. I didn't get any pictures but I'm gonna bring my camera next time and get some pictures of him playing. I'm glad I took him to it. There are more playgroup type things with this program (ECFE), so i'm gonna go to some more of the things they have.
