Bryce was actually excited to go to daycare this morning! I was getting him out of the carseat and asked him if he was ready for school and he got a huge smile on his face and was like 'uh-huh.' then when we got into the school I set him down and he went running to his classroom (he knows exactly where it is) and tried opening the door. When we went inside he just ran over and started play and climbed up on the little 'jungle gym' they have in there to go down the slide. We said bye to him as he was climbing up the stairs and he just kept smiling and was just fine.

Apple orchard

Mimi, Bryce, and I went to an apple orchard today. Bryce picked all of the apples that we got himself.

Some were a little more difficult to pick so Bryce had to use both hands to get them off.

Painting

We started fingerpainting with Bryce. He didn't care for the paint on his fingers at first so I got him some paintbrushes, now he doesn't mind using his fingers.

Daycare pictures

The daycare Bryce goes to got professional school pictures taken. Isn't he adorable! and of course elephant had to join him in the picture.

He looks like such a big boy, I can hardly see my little 2-year-old baby.

Thank goodness! Finally Bryce is doing very well with daycare. This morning when we pulled up to the school Bryce was actually trying to unbuckle himself from his carseat. And we started taking his sweater off before we went into the room because he would always start crying and want to leave it on all day, so this morning while trying to get out of his carseat he was also wanted his sweater off, he's sitting there saying off, off and was happy to be there. Plus the past two days he was actually sitting down at the tables where they eat lunch actually eating something! Which is pretty good considering the past three weeks the teachers always told me that he wouldn't eat any of the breakfast, morning snack, or the lunch he would just tell them no when they asked if he wanted to eat and would go and play. I'm still not sure about the first two but at least he's trying some of the lunch.

We all had a really fun time, especially Bryce after he found the racecar game.

Mom's birthday

We had a little birthday party for mom out at Grammie's house. I made the delicious cake.

At the beach

After we went to the caves we all went to the beach. The water was a bit cold and looking a rather gross so we didn't really do any swimming. Bryce sat up on the beach with johnny and hannah and I sat in the shallow water building sand castles.

Bryce took areal liking to johnny. He would talk about him for a couple weeks after we left.

The Maribel Caves

There are some caves near where the natural spring is and you can only go see them if they're giving tours, and they just happened to be giving tours when we went to go check it out. They were actually doing work digging stuff out in there too.
